Since it was my last day in Seoul I decided to take it a little slow. The geek inside of me decided that I should go to Yongsan Electronic Market 용산 전자상가. The area is basically one giant Fry's Electronic akin to Akihabara in Tokyo. You can find pretty much any piece of technology in existence in this place.

I stumbled upon a giant Gundam Mobile Suit store and I just couldn't resist :)
I then headed for the department stores to see if I could find anything interesting.
It seems most Asian department stores have some kind of food court and supermarket underneath their stores.

After lunch I headed for Itaewon, known for its streets full of antique shops filled with items from around the world.

snack break #2
After my snack break I went back to the Samseong-dong area where I was staying to explore some more before the day ended. First place was the COEX convention center where they host all kinds of events. SMTown is soon to open up there. During my visit the KOBA AUDIO/VIDEO convention was going on.

I noticed the convention center had similar design characteristics to the Dongdaemun Design Plaza

Final stop for the day was Bongeunsa Temple 봉은사. Built in 794 CE during the Joseon Dynasty it was the largest Buddhist temple in Seoul. It was super relaxing just walking through the shade or meditating inside of the many temple houses.
